Therapeutic Guidelines – New Releases

Gastrointestinal 5 (2011) provides succinct, critically evaluated recommendations to help deliver high-quality care to patients. Two expert groups prepared the contents — one revised all the gastrointestinal topics and the other revised the gastrointestinal infections topics. The topics in Gastrointestinal 5 follow the gastrointestinal tract — with a detour for the liver.

Neurology 4 (2011) is an easy-to-use resource for the management of commonly occurring neurological disorders. It includes updated information on the management of stroke, epilepsy, migraine, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis.

Releases in 2012 include Analgesic, Cardiovascular, Oral and Dental and Toxicology & Wilderness.

New topics out now through eTG complete

Diagnostic approach to fatigue in primary care
This new topic takes a different approach from previous topics focuses on diagnosis rather than therapeutics for patients who present with fatigue in general practice. It is designed to be read as useful background rather than during patient consultations.

Ulcer and wound management
Prepared by a multidisciplinary expert group, this topic provides practitioners with expert advice on how to deal with a set of clinical problems that range from commonplace (such as skin tears) to those that are difficult to manage (such as chronic ulcers that are slow to heal).
