OnePath Life's Professionals Life Cover Plus is a new and special offer available to members of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). It is life insurance with:

  • no medicals or blood tests
  • an additional benefit for accidental death
  • the option of protecting yourself for major illness and injury.

You can choose from one of two cover options:

  • Simple cover – Apply online for a Life Benefit of up to $1.5 million2. A pre-existing medical condition exclusion3 applies.
  • Underwritten cover – Apply online or by calling 1800 658 679 for a Life Benefit of up to $2.5 million1. If your application is accepted, you're covered for any pre-existing medical conditions4.

Important information:


1 Life Benefit up to $2,500,000 for Underwritten cover is only available to persons aged 18-44, up to $1,250,000 to persons aged 45-54 and up to $500,000 for persons aged 55-59. Maximum Life Benefit available is based on your gross annual income and other insurance held at time of application.

2 Life Benefit up to $1,500,000 for Simple cover is only available to persons aged 18-44, up to $1,000,000 to persons aged 45-54 and up to $500,000 for persons aged 55-59.

3 A pre-existing medical condition is an injury, illness, condition or related symptom that, in the five years immediately preceding the policy acceptance date:
- a life insured (or a reasonable person in their position) was aware of or should have been aware of; or
- for which a life insured had, or was intending to have, a medical consultation; or
- for which a reasonable person in the circumstances of a life insured would have had a medical consultation.

4 Subject to the terms and conditions of the policy. If you fail to comply with your duty of disclosure, as detailed in the PDS available over the phone 1800 658 679, or if your application includes any misrepresentations OnePath Life may be entitled to avoid the contract or reduce the amount of cover.
