Through this page you will gain access to databases such PubMed - the web version of Medline, the freely available version of the Cochrane Library, and Bandolier. No passwords are required for databases in this section.
Bandolier
The Bandolier Website includes the Bandolier Journal, essays and the Bandolier Knowledge, which collects good quality evidence under a variety of different headings. Bandolier searches for systematic reviews of treatments, of evidence about diagnosis, epidemiology or health economics, and abstracts it.
The Cochrane Library
The Cochrane Library is an internationally recognised source of evidence based medicine.
Education-line
Education-line is a freely accessible database of the full text of conference papers, working papers and electronic literature which supports educational research, policy and practice.
the ERIC database
The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), provides a public Web site for searching nearly 1.2 million citations going back to 1966 and, with contributor permission, accessing more than 110,000 full-text materials at no charge.
PubMed
PubMed is the web version of Medline, published by the National Library of Medicine (USA). No password is required to access the database.
