Library newsUsers of the RACGP John Murtagh Library are now able to access a collection of ebooks on the EBL (Ebook Library) platform. Simply set up an EBL account to browse the collection, read online or follow on-screen instructions to download to desktop or ebook compatible device.

Informit databasesA suite of fully searchable Australasian databases including the full text Informit Health Collection.
Harrison's OnlineHarrison's Online featuring the complete contents of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine (17th edition) along with additional content such as graphics, lecture notes and videos.
Audio Digest downloadsAudio Digest audio articles can be listened to directly via the website or downloaded to pc or mp3 player for playback at a convenient time. Members have access to programs covering family practice, emergency medicine, o & g and child health. Program summaries are available as PDFs alongside the mp3 links.

Please note: From 2010, the library service will operate on a closed access basis. Members who would normally visit the library can search the online catalogue, select items of interest and send in their requests by email, phone (03 8699 0519) or online. Alternatively library staff can select appropriate items. Resources are delivered by courier (at no charge) or may be collected when available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Library has a unique and specialist collection of General Practice related resources, and a team of experienced and helpful staff. Eligible users can send us requests for resources, information, journal articles and literature searches via the website, email, fax or phone. Users can also directly access our electronic resources (including full text articles from hundreds of journal titles) via the website.
