This page lists mental health training activities that have been accredited by the GPMHSC and was last updated on 17 August 2010.

Please note that this is not a complete list of accredited activities that may be available in your area. Only the courses that training providers have given permission to the GPMHSC to publish are listed on this page.

GP college online calendars

RACGP accredited programs are listed at www.racgp.org.au/qacalendar, with the level of GPMHSC accreditation annotated to the left of each activity record. You can limit search results to your state, and to mental health topics to reduce the number of results returned.

GPs participating in the ACRRM PD Program can find activities accredited by ACRRM at www.rrmeo.com - look under the "Search Educational Inventory" link on the right hand side of the page.

Please note not all mental health activities are included on these calendars.

Divisions of general practice

Many divisions of general practice deliver mental health CPD programs for their members. Make sure you contact your Division's mental health program or CPD officer to let them know you have an interest in mental health CPD.

Important note: Most programs listed within the events calendars below have not been formally reviewed or accredited by the RACGP or ACRRM nor by the GPMHSC. The links are provided for information only, and the GPMHSC cannot vouch for the quality or relevance of training programs.

Consequently, the GPMHSC strongly recommends that:

• individual GPs seek and carefully review detailed information from the training provider prior to enrolment
• individual GPs contact the GPMHSC to discuss the content of the program prior to enrolment if intending to claim CPD points for participation.
