NT Pre-Exam Seminar - Written Component (14 Feb 2009 14 Feb 2009) |
| Description: |
The RACGP NT Assessment Panel will conduct a one day seminar to assist candidates
in their preparation for the 2009.1 college fellowship written examination.
The seminar will include:
œ Instruction in
examination techniques
œ Applied Knowledge Test
œ Key Feature Problems
During the seminar, candidates will be tutored by experienced members of the NT Assessment Panel, providing opportunities to experience the written elements of the exam, by conducting practice sessions of the AKT and the KFP |

| Description: |
The Pre Exam Seminar is a workshop covering the mechanics of the AKT, KFP and OSCE exams. The workshop is run by the APC, Dr Rachel Chen and has proved very popular to past candidates.
The CPR component is only suitable for those who feel competent being assessed on the day. Provision is provided by the Exam Dept to do this after the closing date of enrolment. |

Fellowship Preparation Program (27 Feb 2009 01 Mar 2009) |
| Description: |
The Fellowship Preparation Program is organised by RACGP SA&NT Faculty. The program is now in it's sixth successful year and participants have found it most beneficial to the lead up to the exam.
The 3 day program covers the curriculum areas essential for competent, unsupervised general practice. The sessions are highly interactive with small group activities and role playing. There are over 20 presenters, most of whom are experienced examiners. |

Victorian Pre Exam Course (28 Feb 2009 01 Mar 2009) |
| Description: |
The Victoria Faculty will conduct a 1 day pre-examination course to assist candidates in their preparation
for the 2009.1 RACGP Fellowship Examination. The course is facilitated by RACGP trained examiners.
Program
The program will include two sessions. (The session you attend will depend on your exam enrolment.)
Morning session
- Overview of the examination, including physical examination and viva segments
- Introduction to, and practise of, patient consultations and management interviews with feedback
- Opportunity to use practical procedure models.
Afternoon session
- Opportunity to be involved in a short simulation of the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE)

Pre Exam Mock Clinical 2009.1 WA (22 Mar 2009 22 Mar 2009) |
| Description: |
WA Pre Exam Workshop : Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
The WA Faculty will provide a pre exam clinical workshop for candidates sitting 2009.1 college exam. The workshop will be held on Sunday morning, 22nd March 2009, and runs for approximately 4 hours. This location is the same venue for the clinical exam, and the workshop aims to provide candidates with an opportunity to participate in a mock version of the clinical exam on site, individual feedback on performance in each case, and information on successful exam preparation and techniques. Places are limited so early registration is advised. |
