Introduction To Point-of-care Ultrasound for Rural GPs
The ´Introduction to point-of-care ultrasound for rural GPs’ Active Learning Module (ALM) is designed to support rural GPs to increase their understanding of the applications of point-of-care ultrasound in the diagnostic process. The training is delivered by rural GPs and sonographers who are experienced in using ultrasound in their practice environment.
This full-day ALM will give general practice registrars and rural & remote GPs the opportunity to identify practical applications of ultrasound technology in rural general practice settings and utilise point of care ultrasound devices under the guidance of experts.
The ALM is accredited for 40 QI&CPD Category 1 points and is also approved for the Rural Procedural Grants Program.
The ALM runs from 8.30am till 4.30pm and will be offered to RACGP members at $495 (incl. GST). Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
