  • Venues and times for the workshops are published at www.racgp.org.au/cem/dates by selecting the dates and locations tab. Participants will be provided with workshop venue information following registration

Group Bookings

  • Please note that it may be possible to organise group bookings in some circumstances for GPs, practice staff, general practitioner registrars, international medical graduates depending on your organisation's needs and the availability of places within the CEMP national training calendar.
  • Please freecall 1800 284 732 to discuss your organisation's training needs with the National Program Coordinator
  • Discounted registration fees apply for group bookings in some circumstances.

QI&CPD Information

  • The CEMP Intermediate full day workshop has been approved by the RACGP QI&CPD Program for 40 Category 1 points for the 2011-2013 triennium.
  • The CEMP Advanced two day workshop has been approved by the RACGP QI&CPD Program for 80 Category 1 points for the 2011-2013 triennium.
  • General practitioners (GPs) who repeat the same Category 1 activity will only receive QI&CPD points for their first attendance at a particular activity
  • GPs may submit an individual application form to the QI&CPD Program for points to be considered should they re-attend and wish to obtain points for that same activity

Cancellation Policy Terms and Conditions

The following policy outlines the cancellation provisions relating to standard registration and special offers.

Standard Registration and Past Participants Special Offer

  1. A full refund of the registration fee paid will be given in the event that the stipulated workshop is cancelled.  
  2. A full refund of the registration fee paid will be given provided that written notice is received by the College at least six (6) weeks (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) prior to the workshop date.
  3. If the College has confirmed that the stipulated workshop will be proceeding and the Registrant cancels registration between 4 - 6 weeks (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) of the workshop date, the Registrant will become liable for 50% of the registration fee including GST.
  4. If the College has confirmed that the workshop will be proceeding and the Registrant cancels registration less than 30 days (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) prior to the workshop date, no refund will apply.

CEMP Combined Special Offer (ie have registered to attend both CEMP Intermediate and Advanced workshops in 2012)

  1. A full refund of the combined special offer registration fee paid will be given in the event that the stipulated Intermediate and/or Advanced workshops are cancelled. 
  2. A full refund of the combined special offer registration fee paid will be given provided that written notice is received by the College at least six (6) weeks (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) prior to the Intermediate workshop date.
  3. If the College has confirmed that the stipulated Intermediate workshop will be proceeding and the Registrant cancels Intermediate registration between 4 - 6 weeks (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) of the Intermediate workshop date, the Registrant will become liable for 50% of the combined special offer registration fee including GST.
  4. If the College has confirmed that the stipulated Intermediate workshop will be proceeding and the Registrant cancels Intermediate registration less than 30 days (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) prior to the Intermediate workshop date, no refund will apply.
  5. In the event that the Registrant attends an Intermediate workshop and cancels registration for the stipulated Advanced workshop between 4 - 6 weeks (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) of the Advanced workshop date, the Registrant will become liable for 50% of the standard Advanced registration fee including GST, providing that the College has confirmed that the stipulated Advanced workshop will be proceeding.  
  6. In the event that the Registrant attends an Intermediate workshop and cancels registration for the stipulated Advanced workshop less than 30 days (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) prior to the Advanced workshop date, no refund will apply, providing that the College has confirmed that the Advanced workshop will be proceeding.
