The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners invites you to participate in the 49th Annual Scientific Convention which is to be held in Brisbane 5-8 October 2006.
Following the phenomenal success of our conference in Darwin last year, and the record number of delegates who attended, we are locking in sponsors and exhibitors as early as possible for the Brisbane convention. The overarching theme of the 2006 conference is "Be the Future". Many Australian GPs and researchers are at the forefront of the future of family medicine in the world. This conference will take the opportunity to explore and celebrate their many achievements, whilst looking to the future direction for general practice.
The content of the conference will revolve around recent and future advances in Australian General Practice. Planned keynote presentations on cutting edge research in evidence based medicine, new advances in malignant skin disorders and research into genetic diseases will complement exciting panel discussions on where general practice is heading in the future.
