The overarching theme of the convention is Be the future. Many Australian GPs and researchers are at the forefront of family medicine in the world. The convention will explore and expand on these many achievements. Content will revolve around recent and future advances in Australian general practice. Planned keynote presentations on cutting edge research in evidence based medicine, new advances in malignant skin disorders, and research into genetic diseases will complement exciting panel discussions on where general practice is heading in the future.

The sub-theme Awaken your senses will bring together experiences from all our senses. An art exhibition will showcase extraordinary skills of many GP artists. Ordinary GPs – extraordinary tales will showcase some incredible experiences that ordinary GPs have seen and experienced.

See the Future through the eyes of experienced and world renowned GPs. See extraordinary art from talented GPs and their work associates. Visit many of Brisbane and southeast Queensland’s attractions and see why Queensland is ‘beautiful one day – perfect the next’.

Hear the Future at stimulating educational sessions. Listen to world class presentations and marvel at what Australian general practice has to offer.

Taste the Future and be tantalised by the many workshops and poster displays. Experience true Queensland hospitality with food and wine that surpass expectations.
