Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander Health Unit

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health unit

The problems for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples which have been generated by over 200 years of accumulated loss and dispossession cannot be turned around without the commitment of governments and non-government organisations as well as the Australian community as a whole. To this end the RACGP works in partnership with the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) and the Australian Indigenous Doctors' Association (AIDA) to support a range of activities in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
