Future Standards for Vocational Training

The RACGP has established a Vocational Training Subcommittee, reporting to the National Standing Committee of Education, to develop the future standards for vocational training. The subcommittee includes members who are involved in regional training providers, medical education and general practice training.

In recognition of the importance of wide, transparent, and extensive stakeholder input, the consultation process will include the formation of a stakeholder reference group, multiple invitations for stakeholder input, and standards workshops in each state.

The Vocational Training Subcommittee has recently finalised the draft vocational training standards, and is actively seeking stakeholder input. To review the draft standards for vocational training, and provide your feedback, please download the PDF document below and email comments and feedback to web.admin@racgp.org.au.
