Health Records/Stationery
For over
30 years, the RACGP Health Record has been the record keeping system of
choice for many thousands of GPs and the system has assisted them to
meet minimum standards for successsful practice accreditation. These
paper records have a distinct advantage over electronic records - they
do not crash - they are not subject to power cuts, and they cannot be
accidentally deleted.
By using the RACGP Health Record system you will be able to
ensure
- Privacy is maintained, but the record is easily communicated on
referral
- Recorded information is accurate and retrievable
- Health care and preventive programs are accentuated
For the doctor
- Ensured accurate but simplified recording of attendances for
medical, billing and medico-legal purposes
- Highlight important medical information such as risk factors
- Provide family records and linkage
- Promote efficiency in team communication Facilitate greater
interaction with patients during consultations
For practice staff
- Rapid filing and retrieval
- Efficient filing and associated systems saving time
- Simple conversion from existing system
