gplearning
gplearning, free to members, is the college’s highly interactive and easy-to-use online continuing medical education service, valued at $214.50. gplearning has the following features:
- all activities are accredited for Category 1 or Category 2 QA&CPD points
- recognised activities for women’s health and mental health QA&CPD points
- approximately 200 activities covering areas of general practice including women’s health, children and young people, mental health, acute serious illness, aged care and chronic conditions
- simulated consultations, multiple choice questions, presentations, instant feedback and resource links
- prompt activity feedback from specialist medical educators
- online group discussions, allowing interaction with peers, moderated by a specialist medical educator
- members in remote locations can complete QA&CPD activities without travel
- professional development viewer enables GPs to track and identify potential gaps in learning needs
- accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
