The RACGP John Murtagh Library
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Service
This service was established with Commonwealth funding as one of the RACGP’s Department of Health and Ageing projects aimed at supporting general practitioners and registrars working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. At the conclusion of the project in 2004 the RACGP decided to continue to offer continued access to the RACGP Library's services and enhanced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander collection to GPs and registrars working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Communities and other current staff members of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.
GPs and registrars who are current college members do not need to register separately for this service, as it is all part of the Library’s comprehensive service. All GPs who registered with the Library as part of the Commonwealth-funded project between 2002 and 2003 do not need to re-register with us but if your contact details have changed please let us know on telephone (03) 8699 0519, fax (03) 8699 0400 or email library@racgp.org.au.
