Publicly available databases
Through this page you will gain access to databases such PubMed - the web version of Medline, the freely available version of the Cochrane Library, and Bandolier. No passwords are required for databases in this section.
DynaMed access 
All eligible users of the RACGP John Murtagh Library now have access to DynaMed - an evidence-based clinical reference tool created for use by doctors and other health care professionals for use primarily at the 'point-of-care'.
Meditext and AUSThealth databases access 
Meditext is an indexing and full text database that provides Internet access to the scanned images of journal articles from published material on all aspects of health and medicine.
Proquest full text database access 
Registered members have direct access to Proquest, a web-based database which gives full-text access to hundreds of health-related articles and relevant journals. The articles are in PDF or HTML format.

Library link to PubMed 
The Library has been working with the National Library of Medicine to create a customised link to PubMed which, when searched, will provide links to full-text articles supplied by Proquest, along with other free full-text sources
